As we emerge from the depths of winter, your Auditor’s office is out in the community meeting people where they are at to offer resources and let them know how the office can be of service.
The Auditor’s office is hosting a series of events called Community Connects, where staff from every department are available to explain firsthand how the Auditor’s office can help residents. Community Connects are designed to offer neighborhood-specific information and resources and will be held at various locations across the county.
In addition, this March the office will host an Affordable Housing Resources Fair, featuring more than 40 organizations that can help residents seeking affordable housing. The fair will be held March 8 from 10a -2p at Huy Elementary School in North Linden.
We will also be holding five more Board of Revision mobile filing events in March, where residents who disagree with their assigned property value can get help with filing a complaint with the board. Locations and times of the events are available on the Auditor’s office website.
Be on the lookout this spring for Auditor’s office staff at events across the county, from festivals to parades to community meetings, looking for ways the office can serve you
