COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Franklin County Board of Revision (BOR) will be holding multiple in-person filing events across the county through the end of March to help homeowners who believe their home values are incorrect file complaints with the BOR.

The clinics are educational events that walk homeowners through the process of filing complaints and help to answer any questions that may arise throughout the filing process. The deadline to file a complaint to the BOR is April 1, 2024.  A list of clinic times and locations is available on the Auditor’s office website.

In addition, for a fourth year the BOR is partnering with the Legal Aid Society of Columbus to offer the Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP), which helps lower-and middle-income homeowners file challenges with the BOR. The program consists of filing clinics staffed by volunteer real estate and legal professionals with referrals for possible further representation at BOR hearings. It is open to all Franklin County homeowners who make less than $75,000 in annual household income.
