August Community Update

A copy of a 2023 tentative value mailer sent from the Franklin County Auditor's office.

As we enter September, the 2023 Reappraisal is well underway and tentative property values have now been mailed to every property owner in the county. I encourage you to keep a lookout for your Tentative Property Value from the Auditor’s office arriving in your mailbox, if it hasn’t arrived already. Homeowners may also view new tentative values at the Know Your Home Value website.

Along with learning the tentative valuation, the Know Your Home Value website features a lot of information to assist you in your property review, including: GIS mapping technology, allowing homeowners to compare their new values with those in their neighborhood or across the county; an all-new Property Tax Estimator tool that shows your estimated taxes using the new tentative values; and the ability to learn more about this entire process.

Your home is your biggest investment. Valuing it accurately is our top priority. We look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions.
