Board of Revision to Hold Events to Help Homeowners File Value Challenges

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Franklin County Board of Revision (BOR) will be holding numerous in-person educational events across the county to help homeowners who believe their home values are incorrect file complaints with the BOR, Auditor Michael Stinziano announced Wednesday.

In addition, for a third year the Board will offer the Homeowner Assistance Program, which helps lower-and middle-income homeowners file challenges with the BOR. The program consists of filing clinics staffed by volunteer real estate and legal professionals with referrals for possible further representation at BOR hearings.

The Board is accepting complaints from homeowners through the March 31 deadline. For more information on the Board of Revision, the filing process, the complaint form and the Homeowner Assistance Program, please visit the BOR website.
