Updated Ballot Levy Estimator Now Available for March Primary Election

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano announced the release Wednesday of an updated Levy Estimator to help residents understand how levies and bond issues on the ballot will affect their property taxes.

The updated estimator comes as early voting is set to begin on Feb. 19 for this year’s primary election, which will be held on March 17.

Levies and bond issues are on the ballot in several jurisdictions across the county, including: Clinton Township, Franklin Township, Hamilton Township, Mifflin Township, Washington Township, and the Southwest Public Library district. There is also a countywide bond issue for Columbus State Community College.

“As the former Director of the Board of Elections, I encourage everyone to be informed and know how ballot issues will affect you and GO VOTE,” Stinziano said.

To use the Levy Estimator, visit apps.franklincountyauditor.com/LevyEstimator. After selecting your home’s location or entering a parcel number, the estimator will show both your current and estimated taxes if a levy or bond issue in your jurisdiction passes in the March election.

An informational postcard announcing the availability of the updated Levy Estimator was mailed to Franklin County homeowners earlier this week.
