October Real Estate Sales Dashboard
Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano released October sales data in conjunction with the Real Estate Sales Dashboard, a highly localized web app that shows recent home sales on a GIS map.The tool can display sales data by municipality, school district, or area commission, giving homeowners a better sense of sales activity in their neighborhoods.
October sales by the numbers:
- 1893 valid sales
- $175,000 median price
- $390 million in total sales
- The highest dollar sale was for $1.55 million, which is a dwelling and an active farm (Parcel ID = 220-000007)
Top 3 total sales school districts:
- Columbus (884)
- South Western (201)
- Hilliard (116)
Top 3 median sales prices by school district:
- New Albany $474,900
- Grandview $425,000
- Upper Arlington $370,000
“Your Franklin County Auditor’s office is empowering homeowners and consumers with well-presented, local information about home sales in their neighborhood,” Stinziano said. “We’re using technology to bring the Auditor’s office into the 21st century to best serve Franklin County residents.”
The dashboard is optimized for both desktop computers and mobile devices, and will be updated monthly.
