- The FCPH Mobile Outreach Vehicle or MOV launched in March at the Upper Arlington Health Fair.
- Requests for the MOV are coming in! If you would like to request us to attend your event, complete the request form on our website here.
- On April 25, FCPH will be at the Clinton Township Produce Market.
- In May, we will be attending the Perry Township Free Senior Health Fair.

Annual Report Release
- The Franklin County Public Health 2024 Annual Report was released as part of the Annual District Advisory Council Meeting in March. The 2024 report highlights the accomplishments of all divisions and offices of the health department and spotlights the staff who work to support and protect our communities. The Annual Report is available on the FCPH website, we hope you'll take a look!
National Public Health Week
- Each April, the American Public Health Association (APHA) unites communities nationwide to celebrate NPHW, recognizing public health contributions and addressing key health issues. This year we are celebrating 30 years of National Public Health Week (NPHW) and this year's theme is It Starts Here. FCPH is recognizing the week on the latest episode of our Health is Real podcast, which features an interview with Susan Poland from APHA. We'll also be sharing how our FCPH works everyday to make a difference for the communities we serve.

Join us for the 2nd annual APIDA Health Equity Lecture Event! Held during AAPI Heritage Month, this annual event is dedicated to addressing health disparities within Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) communities, fostering dialogue, and advancing equitable health outcomes.

- April is a busy recognition month for public health! We are celebrating Healthy Homes Month, Minority Health Month and Earth Month here at FCPH.
- Earth Day Columbus is requesting volunteers for their even on April 27.
- If you are looking for volunteer opportunities such as neighborhood clean ups, reach out to them at earthdaycolumbus.org/ to sign up.
- If joining a group is not what you are looking for, check out your own neighborhood and see what you can do there.
- The air quality monitoring project at FCPH is in collaboration with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is available for review.
- We are working on a 17-month long study of the neighborhoods in our jurisdiction. Check out your area here.
- The goal of this study is to ensure that our jurisdiction has the best air quality possible and to alert them if it is not a good air quality day.
