- We continue to encourage our community to stay up to date on their vaccinations, including RSV.

Epidemiology Report Review

- Please note: all the data shown in the report is only representative of Franklin County Public Health’s jurisdictions which exclude Worthington and the City of Columbus.

Equity Advisory Council
- The next Equity Advisory Council (EAC) meeting will be held on November 25th.
- This meeting will focus on alignment and integration of our racial equity priority within the FCPH CHIP.
- We will send our quarterly survey to all EAC members to evaluate what is happening in your communities.
- If you have interest in participating or joining the EAC, contact Lisa Dent at lisadent@franklincountyohio.gov.
- A Letter of Interest request was issued a couple weeks ago.
- Submissions will help identify strategic support for the EAC and identify next steps for integrating racial equity.
- This request is closed.
- The review process is underway and we will reach out to everyone who submitted a letter.

 Annual TestGiving Event
- Our 4th Annual TestGiving event is scheduled for November 22 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Memorial Hall.
- Limit 6 test kits per person, while supplies last.
Health is Real podcast
- We have launched our podcast!
- Health is Real is available wherever you get your podcasts and can be streamed directly from the FCPH website.
- Currently there are six episodes available and new episodes launch the first and third Tuesday of each month.

- The Community Action Group is a subcommittee of the Overdose Fatality Review and will be responsible for implementing recommendations from the Overdose Fatality Review team.
- Community organizations are encouraged to join the Community Action Group, especially those that serve or are interested in serving marginalized communities in Franklin County.
- The Community Action Group will meet at least once a month with up to three additionally opportunities to get involved each month.

- Charitable Pharmacy is a full service pharmacy that provides pharmacy services and medication management to low-income, uninsured and underinsured residents of Franklin County at no charge.
- The mission at Charitable Pharmacy is to provide affordable high-quality pharmacy services, sanctuary, and hope to our patients.
- Dr. Reed discussed their new website.

- ADAMH is the county authority on mental health and substance use.
- They provide income based behavioral health care.
- ADAMH is conducting a community needs assessment to learn more about the mental health and addiction needs in Franklin County.
- The survey is for all Franklin County community members.
- Survey results will identify the highest priority needs and services throughout the county.

- The survey is conducted every 5 years.

Elana Burak, Wellness Service Manager, LifeCare Alliance |
|
- LifeCare Alliance is the only organization in Ohio that does in-home diabetes education.
- LifeCare Alliance does not alter or change medications. They work with physicians for any needed changes.
- Patient meetings can be conducted through telehealth, phone consultations and in other meeting spaces outside the home if needed.
- Clients can submit an online referral form for services.
- Most medical insurances are accepted.
- Elana discussed additional wellness and diabetes programs on their website.
