OFCC Accepting Applications for $85M New Appalachian Community Program
Deadline is March 21 at 12 p.m.
The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) is now accepting applications for the new $85 million Appalachian Community Innovation Centers program. Funding is available for community facilities within the Appalachian region to provide an access point to public education, community health services, and workforce development.
School districts, joint vocational school districts, regional councils of government, and other political subdivisions may apply.
Eligible projects include:
- New construction, renovation, or expansion of existing facilities that support public education;
- Physical or behavioral healthcare services onsite to support students and the public;
- Community access for job-related programming.
All grant projects awarded must demonstrate a significant impact in all three areas.
