Draft of Chapter 5 - Soil Stabilization and Erosion Controls available for peer review

A comprehensive revision of the Rainwater and Land Development manual (2006 version with updates through 2014) is currently in progress. This revision process includes an open peer review of proposed technical material for interested parties to offer comments.

A draft of Chapter 5 - Soil Stabilization and Erosion Controls is now available for technical peer review. 

Please note that this draft chapter will replace current Chapter 7 - Soil Stabilization Practices and includes the following practices:

• Construction Entrance Stabilization
• Outlet Stabilization
• Temporary Stream Crossing
• Soil Roughening
• Temporary Seeding
• Mulch Temporary Stabilization
• Permanent Seeding
• Sod Stabilization
• Erosion Control Blanket
• Turf Reinforcement Mat
