As a reminder, End of Course state testing continues this week, which is our last week impacted by state testing. Below, you will find full testing schedules, including report times for all grades, including those who are and are not taking state tests.

This week's testing schedule will be as follows:

    • The following grades should report at 8:10 a.m. | Grades - 7, 8, & high school students taking Algebra 1 and Geometry
    • The following grades should report at 10:45 a.m. | Students in grades 9, 11, & 12 NOT taking Algebra 1 or Geometry*
  • Wednesday, April 24th: Math tests, part 2
    • The following grades should report at 8:10 a.m. | Grades - 7, 8; 10th & 11th grade students taking the Algebra 1 and Geometry Assessments
    • The following grades should report at 10:45 a.m. | Students in grades 9, 11, & 12 NOT taking Algebra 1 or Geometry*

* Students have a delayed start because all of our teachers in the building are being used as proctors for the lengthy end of course assessments to provide the necessary accommodations to our students with disabilities.

Reminder to Unwell Students Leaving Early:

We've observed an increasing trend where students are directly reaching out to their parents or guardians, requesting to be picked up early due to feeling unwell. We want to remind everyone of the correct procedure in such situations. If your child feels sick during school hours, the first step should be to visit the school nurse. Our school nurse is equipped to assess your child's health and make a determination on whether they should remain in school or go home. This decision is made with the student's best interest in mind, ensuring their health and safety are prioritized. After the assessment, the nurse will communicate directly with a parent or guardian to inform them of the situation and discuss the appropriate next steps.

Juniors who took the SAT in March:

Scores were available through your college board account on Thursday, April 18th. A hard copy of your score report will also be sent through the mail.

Attention rising juniors and seniors:

If you are interested in preparing for the SAT, sign up for the SAT bootcamp this summer! The SAT is free for all juniors each school year in the spring. Get a jumpstart on some practice! Here's the link to sign up.

See Mrs. Beck for additional questions.
