What's New?

A Message from the Principal

Hello Deer Park Families!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Super Bowl or Swifty Bowl weekend! Last night, I attended our high school winter dance and it reminded me of a few things. Firstly, it reminded me of how much fun kids still have at dances, and how much energy they bring to the dance floor. It also reminded me of how nice they look when they dress up in something other than their everyday sweatshirts and jeans.

Additionally, the dance reminded me of how amazing our staff is and the incredible things they do for our students outside of school. They go above and beyond to ensure our students have a great high school experience, without any expectation of recognition or reward. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Beck and her husband, Mr. Burger, Ms. Troxell, Ms. Henry, Wayne Brown our DJ, Officer Jim and his wife, George Brewer, and Ms. Brown for sacrificing their Saturday for our kids.

If you have a moment, please consider sending an email or note to thank a staff member at The DP Nation for all they do. A small gesture like that means more than you may realize to them.
