Marching Wildcats Continue Successful Fall at Kettering Fairmont
On Saturday, October 15, 2022, the Deer Park High School Marching Wildcats traveled to Kettering Fairmont for their 4th band competition of the season.
The band and color guard continued their streak of stellar performances and the band finished as the runner up to the Grand Champion of the competition. For the second consecutive competition, the Deer Park Band earned a superior rating, an honor only given to the best bands in the State of Ohio.
The Deer Park color guard's hard work continues to pay off as they won the "Best Color Guard Award" in Class B, which continues an unbeaten streak for the color guard that started at this same competition back in 2019.
The Marching Wildcats will continue their season when they travel to Springfield Shawnee this Saturday, October 22nd with a 12:15pm performance. That same day, they will travel to Turpin High School for a 5:30pm performance.
