 Mask Policies Following CDC Revisions
Dear Deer Park Families,
As many of you have seen, last week the Centers for Disease Control revised policies regarding masks for vaccinated individuals. As you can imagine, this has created many questions for those in schools over the upcoming final weeks of the school year.
Yesterday, Governor Mike Dewine shared his guidance regarding the state of Ohio policies. The summarizing statement of the letter was: "While Ohio will be amending its health orders to comply with this new CDC guidance, in order to maintain consistency and model safe behavior for Ohio’s students, these changes do not affect the existing order requiring the use of facial coverings and other health protocols in our schools."
We will continue to follow these mandates throughout the end of the school year, continuing to enforce our mask policy as the year comes to an end. You can read the full letter from Governor Dewine linked below.
