Reminder About Mask Ordinance and District Policies
Dear Deer Park Families:
Over the past several weeks, we have been thrilled to offer vaccinations to all Deer Park staff, culminating with the completion of the second dose this past Thursday.
While this is an exciting time, we do want to take a moment to remind all of our district families that Governor Mike DeWine has not lifted the mask mandate in the state of Ohio.
We are happy that cases have been relatively low through the last several weeks, be must remain diligent throughout the rest of the year in order to maintain our recent successes.
With that said, it is important to remind everyone that students and staff will all still be required to wear a mask while in district buildings moving forward. We are hopeful that this may not be the case next fall, but for now, it is important that we continue to practice proper protocols regarding COVID-19.
Thank you all for your continued understanding throughout the entirety of this challenging school year. We will continue to keep you updated on protocols as they are made available to us.
