Amity Elementary Nurse Leslie Karle Wins Queen Bee 4-Mile
Cincinnati, Ohio – Amity Elementary nurse Leslie Karle recently ran in the Queen Bee 4-Mile with nearly 2,000 other runners in the women's division. As she crossed the finish line, she ran through tape that said "Winner" as she outpaced 1,888 other runners to win the race!
Karle finished in a time of 25:31 for a pace of 6:23 per mile, winning the race by six seconds! Deer Park would like to wish Leslie a huge congratulations on this incredible accomplishment
Looking to spread her love of running to Deer Park students, Karle is also coach for the Amity Elementary Girls on the Run team. The GOTR team will be running a practice race at Deer Park Jr./Sr. High School on Tuesday, October 22 at 3:30 p.m.
