Seeking providers for Ohio Computer Science Promise Program
The Department is currently accepting applications from eligible providers to deliver one or more computer science courses – aligned to Ohio’s Learning Standards for Computer Science – to students that attend secondary schools that do not offer those computer science courses.

Online day plan reminders for school closures
Schools or districts with online day plans in place may use up to three online days per school year for emergencies or contingencies, such as weather-related closures, staffing shortages, or professional development. Schools using a blended learning model or operating as online schools are not eligible to use online day plans.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Tier 1 module series released
Ohio districts and schools can now access the Tier 1 Schoolwide PBIS Module Series, developed in partnership with OCALI. The series includes 14 online modules for PBIS building teams, meeting state law requirements.

College Credit Plus Teacher Credentialing Grant awardees
Four educational service centers were recently awarded funding to support more Ohio educators becoming credentialed to teach College Credit Plus courses at their high schools and expand learning opportunities for students.
