Assessment Authoring
This flexible and user-friendly system enables teachers to create their own tests from a large bank of Ohio test questions, administer these tests to their students using the familiar Test Delivery System, and view results in the Centralized Reporting System. Features include the following:
- The ability to create custom teacher-authored tests aligned to Ohio’s Learning Standards.
-
A large bank of test questions (items) comprised primarily of previously released test questions from Ohio’s State Tests, including items from tests no longer administered – grades 4 and 6 social studies and physical science.
- Collaboration tools to allow educators to work within and across schools to create tests.
- Test sharing to allow created tests to be administered by teachers within or across schools.
-
Printing of individual test questions or complete tests.
-
A bank of tests created by the Department including Benchmark, Checkpoint and Released Item tests. These tests can be copied and then modified as needed.
-
Access using existing user credentials for TIDE. Assessment Authoring will be available to DTCs, DAs, Building Test Coordinators (BTCs), and Teacher (TE) user roles.
