Ohio ID Information
The Ohio Department of Education began asking anyone with an ODE user profile to verify their contact information. Department of Education applications require basic information including your name, address and how to contact you. All of the Department applications you use will have this profile information.
An ODE user profile is not the same as an OH|ID. Even though the OH|ID sign up process also collects some contact information, OH|IDs are only used to securely log you into state systems.
An ODE user profile is unique to the Department of Education. If you use applications from another state agency and provided similar information to them, the Department of Education does not have access to that information.

Cohort 3 Plan Submission Reminder
All Cohort 3 Districts should have submitted a three-year One Needs Assessment and One Plan by April 30. The 3-year One Plan for the district and any required schools must be submitted to the Department before a district’s annual consolidated funding application may be moved to final approved status to access funds. Thank you to those Cohort 3 districts that have already submitted a One Plan. For those districts that have yet to submit a plan, please remember that both the fiscal representative and authorized representative are required to sign off on the One Plan. District personnel may check the One Plan status on the ED STEPS One Plan/View page.
Power BI - TRAINING

“Plan Status Report” allows a district to go in and check the status of the district and building plans. This report is helpful for district staff to monitor the completion and approval of all the plans in the district. Instead of needing to go into each individual plan to determine its status, district staff can run the Plan Status Report in Power BI. |
To access the Power Bi report for plan submissions, click on reports at the top of the EDSTEPs Dashboard.
In the sample, there are four plans; one district plan and three building plans. Three of the plans are in progress, while one building needs to start their plan.
Power BI reports are quick reports that districts can run that allows you to look at data specific to the report, print the report or download the data to a CVS file that you can sort, filter, compile, and save for later.
