Nationwide Call for Student Performing Artists
The U.S. Department of Education is seeking student performing artists who are interested in showcasing their talent, virtually or in-person, at internal and external Department-hosted events. Library of Congress – Teaching with Primary Sources Workshop
The Library of Congress Summer Professional Development workshops are appropriate for K-12 educators across many disciplines, including: Art, Music; and for any other educator who feels primary sources could be used with their curriculum. Librarians and Curriculum/Professional Development specialists are also encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is February 10, 2023.
The free three-day professional development workshops will be onsite at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. where you’ll learn and practice strategies for using primary sources with K-12 students. Three sessions will be offered this summer:
- July 5-7
- July 12-14
- July 17-19
