Making FAFSA a Priority
FAFSA continues to be a priority for our students in Ohio. You can take a look at Ohio's updated "FAFSA by the Numbers" dashboard to find out what is happening across the state and in your region.
Still looking for resources? You can head to webpage for the Ohio Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators to sign up for a March 1 "FAFSA 201" session that addresses some of the stickier issues, like appeals and the verification process. You can also find recordings of earlier webinars, like FAFSA 101, which covers the basics..
Also, we have been excited to see many counselors and others downloading and using the toolkit from the itsforyou.org website, which has social media and printable images about the opportunities created by filling out the FAFSA. You can find Spanish translations of many of those materials at this link.
Is FAFSA a priority at your school? Do you want to share some of your best practices and resources, or offer suggestions? Please email the FAFSA inbox at fafsa@highered.ohio.gov
