Compacted Standards in Middle School

Some students are able to move through mathematics quickly. These students may choose to take high school mathematics beginning in eighth grade or earlier, so they can take college-level mathematics, like Calculus and Advanced Statistics, in high school. To assist districts in reviewing their curricula for students who are capable of accelerating in mathematics, the Ohio Department of Education created a suggestion for Compacted Standards in Middle School document.
