Enhanced CORE online teacher licensure application launching week of June 4

Ohio’s upgraded Connected Ohio Records for Educators (CORE) online teacher licensure application will launch the week of June 4. The enhancements to the CORE application follow feedback from teachers who asked for a simpler, more user-friendly application process.

REMINDER: Annual safety plan certification review due July 1 Schools must annually certify to the Ohio Department of Education that their safety plans are current and accurate. School and district administrators with compliant school safety plans, from 2017 and earlier, have until July 1 of each year to complete this annual review.

Spread the word: Kids eat free this summer! Districts can help make sure parents know the Ohio Department of Education is sponsoring the Summer Food Service Program again this summer, providing children through age 18 with free, healthy meals when they lack access to school breakfasts and lunches.
