NABCJ Registration Deadlines |

For anyone interested in attending the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice Ohio Chapter state conference from Oct. 27-29, there are multiple registration and application deadlines these next two weeks.
Registrations for attendance and workshop proposals are due by Oct. 11. You can access conference registration here and the workshop proposal here. The organization is also accepting applications for $1,000 scholarships that are due TOMORROW, OCTOBER 1. Scholarship applicants must be a high school senior or college student with at least a 3.0 GPA. For those details, you can click or tap here.

The NABCJ is a nonprofit involving criminal justice professionals with varying backgrounds who work together to improve the administration of criminal justice. Members represent the fields of corrections, law enforcement, courts, social services, academia, as well as religious and other community-based interests. The conference brings people from all these disciplines together to discuss relevant legislation and changes supported through research and evidence-based strategies. Training Deadline Day
This is a training due date reminder for employees required to complete agency-wide. These are web-based trainings with a deadline of TODAY, September 30.
Here are the following trainings due:
- Youth Grievance FY24-25
- The Ohio Ethics Law 2024: 50 Years of Promoting Governmental Ethics
- Securing Ohio
- PREA Prison Rape Elimination Act FY24-25
- Identifying and Responding to Juvenile Victims of Human Trafficking FY24-25
