Hamilton County (Wednesday, October 14, 2026) – Ramp closures will be in effect at the Interstate 275 and state Route 4 (Springdale Pike) interchange beginning tonight and continuing through weekend as part of a bridge repair project to heat straighten the beams and replace cross frames under the structure that carries I-275 traffic over S.R. 4.
Tonight and tomorrow, October 14 and 15, the ramp from southbound S.R. 4 to eastbound I-275, as well as the right lane of southbound S.R. 4, will be closed while crews work to replace cross frames under the bridge during the evening and overnight hours.
The restrictions will be in place from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day, and during periods of closure of the ramp, motorists may detour by way of I-275 West and the Winton Road interchange to I-275 East.
Then on Friday, October 16, the ramps from southbound S.R. 4 to eastbound I-275 and from northbound S.R. 4 to westbound I-275 will be closed through the weekend for heat straightening work. The closures will begin at 8 p.m. and remain in place until 6 a.m. Monday, October 19.
While the ramps are closed throughout the weekend, southbound S.R. 4 motorists may detour by way of I-275 West and the Winton Road interchange to I-275 East, while northbound S.R. 4 motorists can follow I-275 East to the S.R. 747 interchange to access westbound I-275.
The Vimas Painting Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $723,230 to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in late October.
