Second closure of Trebein Road this weekend

Greene County (Wednesday, June 17, 2026) – The second weekend closure of Trebein Road at the U.S. Route 35 interchange for crews to complete paving work.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 19, Trebein Road will be closed between the on/off ramps at westbound U.S. 35 and Dayton-Xenia Road while contractors for the interchange project complete the reconstruction of concrete pavement to the north of the interchange.

The closure will in effect until 6 a.m. Monday, June 22, and while Trebein Road is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of Dayton-Xenia Road, Progress Drive and Business U.S. 35/Main Street.

All work will be contingent upon the weather, so in the event of weather-related delays, the backup weekend for the closure will be June 26-29.

During periods of closure, the ramps will remain open, and access to a private driveway will be maintained.
