Short-term closure of I-75 North for crane mobilization

Hamilton County (Friday, June 12, 2026) – As part of the Linn Street Bridge Replacement and Reconstruction project, a single, short-term closure of I-75 North will be in effect during the early morning hours Monday, June 15, while crews move a crane from the median to the bridge abutment along Winchell Avenue.

Monday, June 15:

• Short-term (15-minute), full closure of northbound I-75, between the 6th Street Viaduct and Ezzard Charles Drive, beginning at 3 a.m.
• Access from I-71 South/U.S. 50 West (Fort Washington Way) to I-75 North will be restricted temporarily.
• Access from the W. 4th Street and W. 6th Street entrance ramps will also be restricted temporarily.
• To avoid delay, motorists can follow W. 6th Street to Linn Street, W. 8th Street and Freeman Avenue to enter I-75 North.
• All restrictions will be lifted by 4 a.m.
