Upcoming Two-Week Ramp Closures

Downtown Ramp Up

 

Starting Tuesday, June 16 at 9 p.m. the I-70 eastbound ramp to I-71 southbound will close for two weeks. This closure will allow crews to finish reconstruction of the new ramp and to complete tie-in work near the I-71 southbound flyover ramp.

During this closure, traffic will be detoured using one of the following routes:

  • I-70 eastbound to I-270 southbound to I-71 southbound
  • I-70 eastbound to I-670 eastbound to I-71 southbound to I-70 westbound to I-71 southbound.

Two additional ramps will also close for this work:

  • The I-71 southbound ramp to Greenlawn Ave. will close starting 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 for two weeks.
    • Detour: I-71 southbound to SR 104 to I-71 northbound to Greenlawn Ave.
  • The Mound St. ramp to I-70 eastbound will close starting 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 16 for two weeks.
    • Detour: Mound St. to S. Central Ave. (U.S. 62) to W. Broad St. to I-70 eastbound
