S.R. 725 Closing Tonight for Monitoring

Preble County (Thursday, March 26, 2026) – State Route 725 will be closed tonight, March 26, for overnight maintenance and roadway monitoring.

Beginning at 7 p.m., crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Preble County Maintenance Facility will close S.R. 725 between the western corporation limit of Camden and the junction with Old SR 725 to assess the pavement and monitor the embankment for potential erosion.

S.R. 725 will be closed until further notice; however, it is anticipated that the route will be reopened to traffic during the day Friday, March 27, pending the assessment.

While S.R. 725 is closed, motorists may detour by way of U.S. 127, Camden College Corner Road and S.R. 732.
