U.S. 35/Valley-Trebein Road Project Update

Eastbound U.S. 35 single-lane closures this Sunday & Monday

Greene County (Thursday, October 16, 2025) – Single-lane closures will be in effect on U.S. Route 35 East at the start of week as part of the U.S. Route 35/Valley-Trebein Interchange Project.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 19, eastbound U.S. 35 will be reduced to one lane from Orchard Lane to just east of the new overpass bridge while crews move an attenuator and barrier wall. The lane closure will be in effect until approximately midnight.

Then on Monday, October 20, alternating single-lane closures will be in effect on eastbound U.S. 35 at the interchange from 9 a.m. to noon while crews remove the temporary signal.

Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution when traveling through the work zone.

The U.S. 35/Valley-Trebein Road project, which includes construction of a new interchange and upgrades to Valley and Trebein roads, is part of several corridor improvements and a greater thoroughfare plan in Greene County, and the project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2026.
