Traffic Change To Be Implemented At U.S. 68/Hyde Road Intersection

Greene County (Monday, September 15, 2025) – In an effort to improve safety, traffic changes will be implemented next month at the intersection of U.S. Route 68 and E. Hyde Road in Greene County.

On Wednesday, October 1, the intersection of U.S. 68 and E. Hyde Road, which is located south of Yellow Springs, will be converted to a four-way stop. Currently, the intersection is a two-way stop with Hyde Road motorists yielding to U.S. 68 traffic, and U.S. 68 motorists having the right of way.

With the conversion of the intersection from a two-way to a four-way stop scheduled to take place October 1, message boards alerting motorists of the upcoming change are scheduled to be installed Wednesday, September 17.

Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution when traveling through the area, and for ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information throughout the state, please visit www.OHGO.com.
