Butler County (Tuesday, May 13, 2025) – Lane restrictions on state Route 4 in Butler County will continue through Friday, August 1.
As part of a bridge replacement and resurfacing project on S.R. 4, lane closures will be in place in both directions on the route between the city of Hamilton and the city of Middletown for paving operations. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and work will take place on Saturdays as well. A minimum of one lane in each direction will be maintained with arrow boards and traffic cones.
Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. was awarded a contract for $19.5 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed by late summer of 2025.
