Hamilton County (Thursday, May 1, 2025) – The following restriction will be in place today as part of the Interstate 75/Mill Creek Expressway - Phase 8 project for pothole repair.
Thursday, May 1:
Short-term closure of the right lane on S.R. 562 West from approximately Paddock Road to the I-75 North ramp. This closure will be in place from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the ramp will remain open to traffic.

The Mill Creek Expressway - Phase 8 project includes replacement of three railroad bridges, which are located over Prosser Avenue, I-75, and S.R. 562, as well as reconstruction of the railroad tracks between bridges. Construction also includes minor realignment of lanes on I-75 to accommodate the new railroad bridge pier location on I-75.
The Great Lakes Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $46.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2027.
