Hamilton County (Thursday, April 24, 2025) – Ongoing work on the pavement repair project on state Route 126 requires the following overnight lane and ramp restrictions.
Nightly lane closures on S.R. 126 East and West, between Galbraith Road and Reading Road, will continue through Friday, May 2 for bridge deck patching. Restrictions are from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Then, at 9 p.m. Friday, May 2, the ramp from Galbraith Road to eastbound S.R. 126 will be closed for concrete repairs through 6 a.m. Monday, May 4. During closure, traffic will be detoured via the U.S. 127 (Hamilton Avenue) ramp. This work was originally scheduled to take place this weekend.
Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $3.8 million to complete the project, which includes patching concrete pavement and bridge decks, and repair pressure relief on bridge joints throughout the work zone. All work is scheduled to be complete in November 2025.
