U.S. 52 Bridge Preservation Project Update

Hamilton County (Tuesday, April 22, 2025) – New lane restrictions will be in effect next month as part of a bridge preservation project on U.S. 52 at Kellogg Avenue in Hamilton County.

Beginning Thursday, May 1, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the inside lanes of U.S. 52 in both the east and westbound directions for crews to replace bridge joints and bearings on the bridges over Kellogg Avenue.

Traffic will be maintained in one, 11-foot lane in each direction, and the restrictions will be in effect through mid- to late June.

Sunesis Construction Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $1.45 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in August 2025.
