S.R. 126 Pavement Repairs Project

Hamilton County (Wednesday, April 16, 2025) – A pavement repair project on state Route 126 is scheduled to begin next week, and overnight lane restrictions will be in effect.

Beginning Monday, April 21, and lasting through Friday, May 2, nightly lane closures will be in place on S.R. 126 East and West, between Galbraith Road and Reading Road, for bridge deck patching. Restrictions will be from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.

Then, at 9 p.m. Friday, April 25, the ramp from Galbraith Road to eastbound S.R. 126 will be closed for concrete repairs through 6 a.m. Monday, April 28. During closure, traffic will be detoured via the U.S. 127 (Hamilton Avenue) ramp.

Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $3.8 million to complete the project, which includes patching concrete pavement and bridge decks, and repair pressure relief on bridge joints throughout the work zone. All work is scheduled to be complete in November 2025.
