Hamilton County (Thursday, April 3, 2025) – The following overnight restrictions will be in place next week for guardrail repairs and other work as part of the Interstate 75/Mill Creek Expressway - Phase 8 project.
Monday, April 7:
Single-lane (right lane) closure on westbound S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral, between the Paddock Road interchange and I-75, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 8.
Closure of the ramp from westbound S.R. 562 to I-75 North, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday. Motorists may detour via Paddock Road to I-75.
Single-lane (left lane) closure on I-75 South, from just south of the Paddock Road interchange to S.R. 562, beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 11 p.m. Restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Tuesday, April 8:
Single-lane (right lane) closure on westbound S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral, between the Paddock Road interchange and I-75, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 9.
Closure of the ramp from westbound S.R. 562 to I-75 North, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday. Motorists may detour via Paddock Road to I-75.

Wednesday, April 9:
Single-lane (right lane) closure on westbound S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral, between the Paddock Road interchange and I-75, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, April 10.
Closure of the ramp from westbound S.R. 562 to I-75 North, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday. Motorists may detour via Paddock Road to I-75.
Closure of the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound S.R. 562, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday.
Single-lane (left lane) closure on I-75 South, from just south of the Paddock Road interchange to S.R. 562, beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. Thursday.
Thursday, April 10:
Closure of the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound S.R. 562, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.
Single-lane (left lane) closure on eastbound S.R. 562, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

The Mill Creek Expressway - Phase 8 project includes replacement of three railroad bridges, which are located over Prosser Avenue, I-75, and S.R. 562, as well as reconstruction of the railroad tracks between bridges. Construction also includes minor realignment of lanes on I-75 to accommodate the new railroad bridge pier location on I-75.
The Great Lakes Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $46.7 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2027.
