Signal Work Scheduled Next Week On S.R. 4
Butler County (Wednesday, March 26, 2025) - Lane restrictions and short-term full closures will be in effect next week at the intersection of state Route 4 and Liberty Fairfield Road for signal work.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Traffic Department will be repairing an overhead tether wire. Various lane closures will be in place on both routes, and the traffic signal will be placed in dark mode until 2 p.m. In addition, there will be short-term full closures at the intersection.
During work, traffic will be maintained with flagging operations.
To help ensure the safety of the workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
