Greene County (Saturday, August 17, 2024) – Lane restrictions will be in effect next week on U.S. Route 35 at the U.S. 35-Valley/Trebein interchange project, with a single-lane closure in effect on U.S. 35 West Sunday night.

The left lane of westbound U.S. 35 will be closed from Orchard Lane to just east of the Trebein/Valley roads intersection from 7 p.m. Sunday, August 18, to 6 a.m. Monday.

In addition to this restriction, daytime lane closures will be in place through the work zone as weather permits beginning Monday, August 19. From approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, single-lane closures will be in effect on U.S. 35 in the east and westbound direction.

The lane closures are anticipated to continue through the end of August, and motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the work zone.
