Upcoming Ramp Closure: SR 315 South to I-70 East

BEGINS SATURDAY, MAY 4

Interstates 70/71 Reconstruction – I-70/71 will experience lane restrictions through downtown Columbus to widen and reconstruct the roadway, replace bridges over the interstate, rebuild ramps, and construct new urban avenues parallel to the interstate. Various downtown ramps will permanently close.

NEW IMPACTS

The SR 315 southbound ramp to I-70 eastbound will close starting Saturday, May 4 for multiple years as crews move into the next phase of improvements at Interstates 70/71. The detour is SR 315 southbound to I-670 eastbound to I-71 southbound to I-70 eastbound.

Starting Sunday, May 5th, I-70 eastbound traffic will be shifted outside to the newly constructed bridges as crews begin to reconstruct the existing roadway.

All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
