Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF MARCH 10, 2024

CHILLICOTHE - The following construction and maintenance projects are anticipated to affect highways in Lawrence County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Projects with active or future traffic impacts are linked to OHGO.com

State Route 141 Culvert Replacements

Work is set to begin on March 11 for a series of culvert replacements on S.R. 141 between S.R. 217 and S.R. 775. Work will occur daily from 8:30 - 2:30 for the duration of the project. The road will be closed for this construction, traffic will be detoured via S.R. 217 to S.R. 378 from March 11 - March 12. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 378 to S.R. 217 to S.R. 775 from March 13 - 14. Estimated completion: March 2024

State Route 243 Bridge Replacement

Work is set to begin on March 11 for a bridge replacement project on S.R. 243 between Leatherwood Road and Sutton Mt Tabor Ridge Road. Work will occur daily from 7 AM - 5 PM for the duration of the project. S.R. 243 will be reduced to one lane using temporary signals. Estimated completion: Fall 2024

State Route 217 Culvert Replacements

Work is set to begin on March 18 for a series of culvert replacements on S.R. 217 between S.R. 378 and Greasy Ridge Road. Work will occur daily from 8 AM - 2:30 PM for this construction. S.R. 217 will be closed for the duration of the project; traffic will be detoured via S.R. 378 to S.R. 141 to S.R. 775. Estimated completion: March 2024
