Lane Restrictions Scheduled For Norwood Lateral Project
Hamilton County (Saturday, March 2, 2024) – Intermittent lane restrictions will be in place on the Norwood Lateral, Reading Road, Paddock Road and Ross Avenue next week in preparation for the Norwood Lateral bridge rehabilitation and resurfacing project.
Throughout the week, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be installing signs and placing barrier to prepare for the upcoming closure of the eastbound lanes of the Norwood Lateral.
Single-lane closures will be in place on the Lateral in the eastbound direction; on Reading and Paddock roads, between the east and westbound entrance ramps to the Lateral; and on Ross Avenue under the Lateral during the evening and overnight hours of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from approximately 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day.
Although work is not scheduled during daytime hours this week, any restrictions that may be in effect will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and traffic will be maintained through the work zones in a minimum of one lane in either direction.
The eastbound lanes of the Norwood Lateral will be closed Sunday, March 10, during the late evening (nighttime) hours.
Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution when traveling through the work zones to help ensure the safety of crews as well as the traveling public.
