FRANKLIN COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF JUNE 18, 2023

DELAWARE, Ohio (Thursday, June 15, 2023) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Franklin County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

US 33_small

U.S. 33

NEW IMPACTS

  • The U.S. 33 westbound and eastbound ramps to I-270 northbound on the south side will close nightly (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, June 18 through Thursday, June 22.

  • The U.S. 33 westbound and eastbound ramps to I-270 southbound on the south side will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, June 19.

NEW IMPACTS

  • The I-270 southbound ramp to U.S. 33 northbound and southbound on the south side will close overnight (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, June 19.

  • The I-270 westbound ramp to Alum Creek Dr. will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Monday, June 19.

  • The I-270 northbound ramp to U.S. 33 northbound and southbound on the south side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Tuesday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 21.

  • The Alum Creek Dr. ramp to I-270 northbound will close nightly (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) starting Tuesday, June 20 through Wednesday, June 21.

NEW IMPACTS

  • The I-70 eastbound ramp to I-270 southbound on the south side will close overnight (7 p.m. – 5 a.m.) on Sunday, June 18.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

  • Hamilton Rd. northbound between I-70 and Groves Rd. will have various lane restrictions starting June 12, 2023 through June 30, 2023.

NEW IMPACTS

  • The I-71 northbound and southbound ramps to I-270 westbound on the north side will close nightly (9 p.m. – 7 a.m.) starting Thursday, June 22 through Saturday, June 24.
    • Detour: I-71 northbound and southbound to I-270 eastbound to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 westbound.

NEW IMPACTS

  • The U.S. 62 southbound ramp to I-270 eastbound will close starting Friday, June 16 at 6 p.m. through Monday, June 19 at 5 a.m. 
    • Detour: U.S. 62 westbound to Home Rd. to Hoover Rd. to Southwest Blvd. to U.S. 62 eastbound to I-270.
  • The U.S. 62 northbound ramp to I-270 eastbound will close starting Friday, June 16 at 7 p.m. through Monday, June 19 at 5 a.m. 
    • Detour: U.S. 62 to I-270 westbound to Georgesville Rd. to I-270 eastbound.
  • The U.S. 62 eastbound ramp to I-270 westbound will close starting Friday, June 16 at 9 p.m. through Monday, June 19 at 5 a.m. 
    • Detour: U.S. 62 eastbound to Frank Rd. to I-71 southbound.
