S.R. 126 Resurfacing Project Update

**Revised Completion Date For Culvert Replacement**

Butler County (Wednesday, May 31, 2023) – As the resurfacing project continues on state Route 126, pavement repairs and a culvert replacement require lane restrictions and a closure of the route.

Contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation are using single-lane closures on S.R. 126 between S.R. 748 and S.R. 128 to conduct pavement repairs and resurfacing. Daily lane restrictions are in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and traffic is being maintained by flaggers when crews are at work.

In addition, the 30-day closure of S.R. 126 for a culvert replacement at the 7.66-mile marker, just east of Morgan Ross Road, has been extended through Friday, June 2, and traffic is detoured via S.R. 748, S.R. 129, U.S. 27 and S.R. 128.

The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract in the amount of $2.49 million to complete the work, and all work is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2023.

All work will be contingent upon the weather. For ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information throughout the state, please visit www.OHGO.com.
