Clermont County (Tuesday, May 30, 2023) – Continuing work on the continuous flow lane and bridge rehabilitation at the I-275/S.R. 28 interchange requires the following restrictions beginning this week:

The closure is in place while contractors working for the Ohio Department of Transportation hang new, decorative letters on the Happy Hollow Road bridge over the bypass.

Thursday, June 1: Close the westbound S.R. 28 on ramp to southbound I-275 between 2 p.m. and midnight, and the right lane of southbound I-275 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, June 2.

Friday, June 2: Close the left and center lanes on I-275 North and South between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday, June 3.

Monday, June 5: Close the eastbound S.R. 28 ramp to northbound I-275 between 2 p.m. and midnight, and the right lane of I-275 North from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 6.

During closures, northbound I-275 traffic will be detoured via S.R. 450. Southbound I-275 traffic will be detoured via Wards Corner Road.

Along with constructing a continuous flow lane from S.R. 28 to I-275, other work includes rehabilitating the bridge by overlaying the deck, replacing the barrier, and replacing the vandal protection fence.

Eagle Bridge Company was awarded the $3.9 million contract, and all work is scheduled to be completed in early summer of 2023.
