Lebanon (Wednesday, May 10, 2023) – Pavement repairs are under way on state Route 131 and U.S. Route 50 in Clermont County, as contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation prepare for a resurfacing project on portions of both routes.
Single-lane restrictions will be in effect on U.S. 50, from just west of Klondike Road to Wolfpen-Pleasant Hill Road, as well as on S.R. 131, between S.R. 727 and S.R. 133, while crews repair pavement in advance of resurfacing. The restrictions will be in effect through the remainder of the week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, as well as next week, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers when crews are at work.
A schedule to start paving operations has yet to be determined; however, traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $1.66 million to complete the project, and construction is scheduled to be completed by the fall.
Motorists are reminded to use additional caution through the work zone, and for ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information throughout the state, please visit www.OHGO.com.
