Planned transportation improvements in the area will be completed in the coming years to accommodate the additional traffic expected from future development, including Intel. Projects will be constructed by both state and local governments, with varying impacts to traffic. Please note that all work is weather dependent.

MINK STREET IMPROVEMENTS (City of New Albany)

  • New impacts: Starting May 1, Mink St. will close between Innovation Campus Way and Jug St. for drainage installation. Local traffic will be maintained for residents only. The work is expected to be complete May 7, weather permitting.
     
    • Detour: Mink St. to Innovation Campus Way to Smith's Mill Rd. to Beech Rd. to Jug St. or reverse. 

CLOVER VALLEY ROAD IMPROVEMENTS (City of New Albany)

  • New impacts: Starting April 27,Clover Valley Rd. will be closed south of Green Chapel Rd. for drainage installation. The work is expected to be complete May 4, weather permitting. 

    • Detour: Green Chapel Rd. to U.S. 62 to Beech Rd. to Miller Rd. to Clover Valley Rd. or reverse. 
  • Continuing impacts: Clover Valley Rd. is no longer open to through traffic from Jug St. or Miller Rd. for the foreseeable future. Local access from Clover Valley Rd. to Jug St. is maintained for residents only. Detour: Clover Valley Rd. to Green Chapel Rd. to Mink St. to Jug St. to Clover Valley Rd. or reverse.
