Traffic Changes Now In Effect At S.R. 32/Olive Branch-Stonelick Road Intersection
Clermont County (Monday, December 19, 2022) - Traffic changes have now been implemented on Olive Branch-Stonelick Road at the state Route 32 eastbound interchange in Clermont County.
Effective today, December 19, the intersection at the S.R. 32 eastbound off-ramp and Olive Branch-Stonelick Road in Batavia Township has been converted from a one-way stop at the off-ramp to an all-way stop for motorists traveling on both the ramp and the county road.
The change is an interim measure to improve safety due to the increased traffic the intersection has been experiencing from ongoing construction on S.R. 32 in the Eastgate area. Installation of the all-way stop is a cost-effective countermeasure that can be implemented quickly while ODOT staff continue to work with Batavia Township officials and the Clermont County Engineer's Office to evaluate the intersection for any potential longer-term solutions that may be needed once nearby construction projects have been completed.
Along with this change, the Clermont County Engineer's Office has posted a reduced speed limit of 40 miles-per-hour on Olive Branch-Stonelick Road.
Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the intersection as these changes are implemented.
