UPDATE: Front Street Bridge to Close Saturday

Downtown Ramp Up

Interstates 70/71 Reconstruction – I-70/71 will experience lane restrictions through downtown Columbus to widen and reconstruct the roadway, replace bridges over the interstate, rebuild ramps, and construct new urban avenues parallel to the interstate. Various downtown ramps will permanently close. Estimated completion: August 2025

NEW IMPACTS

  • The Front St. bridge over I-70 will now close at 7 a.m. Saturday, October 29 for bridge replacement until Spring 2025. The detour is W. Sycamore St. to High St. to Mound St. OR Main St. to High St. to W. Sycamore St.
