CLERMONT COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending September 24, 2022: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Clermont County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. S.R. 32 Interchange/Expansion - Construction of an interchange at the intersection of S.R. 32 and Bach Buxton Road/Elick Lane and widening of S.R. 32 West between the new interchange and Glen Este-Withamsville (GEW) Road. Intermittent lane restrictions will be in place on the mainline, as well as restrictions on secondary routes, including the following: Marian Drive is closed between Elick Lane/Bach Buxton Road and Eastgate Woods. This is a temporary closure during construction, and the route will reopen when the new interchange opens. Access is being maintained to businesses off Marian Drive.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

S.R. 28 Intersection Improvement/Bridge Repair - Construction of a continuous flow lane from Business S.R. 28 to I-275 North and bridge rehabilitation on the S.R. 28 structure over I-275. Intermittent lane restrictions will be in effect on S.R. 28 during the evening and overnight hours, and the entire project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2023.

S.R. 125 Intersection Improvement/Turn Lane Installation - At the intersection with Bach Buxton Road. The right lane of S.R. 125, immediately west of Bach Buxton Road, is closed for construction of a southbound right-turn lane on Bach Buxton Road. Traffic is shifted to the left, and the right-turn lane from S.R. 125 to Bach Buxton Road remains open. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in early winter of 2022.

S.R. 125 Resurfacing - Between Amelia-Olive Branch Road and S.R. 222. Nightly lane closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day for preliminary pavement work prior to resurfacing, and a minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. All work is scheduled to be completed in early fall of 2022.

S.R. 126 Resurfacing - Between Milford and Loveland Madeira Road near Indian Hill. Single-lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and traffic will be maintained by flaggers during hours of operation. The project is scheduled to be completed in early fall of 2022.

S.R. 450 Resurfacing - On S.R. 450, between U.S. 50 and the ramps to Milford Parkway, adjacent to I-275. Lane restrictions will be in effect through the work zone, nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day, and the interchange ramps may be subject to intermittent lane restrictions during hours of operation. All work is scheduled to be complete in early fall of 2022. 

S.R. 756 Culvert Replacement/Resurfacing - Between S.R. 232 and the Brown County line. Single-lane closures will be in effect for paving operations between S.R. 133 and the Brown County line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is scheduled to be completed by late September.
